Charities
Here at The Sugar Rose Cakery, we like to do our bit! If you represent a charity and are holding a fund raising event, get in contact and we might be able to help out with a cake donation. The cake donated would usually be vanilla sponge, with either vanilla or strawberry buttercream filling, decorated with the charity's logo. Obviously, the amounts of cakes we can donate is limited, so we operate on a "first come first serve" basis. So, if you would like us to provide a cake donation, get in as early as you can to avoid disappointment! Below you will find some of the charities we have donated to.
Tiny's FundTiny's Fund has been set up to help Ella-Louise Carroll (nicknamed Tiny), a four year old girl with severe gastro problems, as well as being dedicated to raising money for the gastro research department at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. MNDAMND (Motor Neurone Disease) is a progressive disease that attackes the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. Medway Bat and Trap League recently held a charity fundraising event for this cause, to which we donated this cake. To find out more about MND, visit http://www.mndassociation.org
